Here are some cute stores and souvenir stores that you should definitely visit when you come to Miyakojima. When I went there (around July 15, 2021), it was still open even under the state of emergency, so it’s a good place to visit if you’re planning a trip this summer. Of course, the images used in the article are photos I actually visited and took myself. I’ve also attached a Google map so you can take advantage of it on your drive. hakoniwa kurima
Hakoniwa Kuruma is located just across the Kuruma Bridge.
From the exterior of the store, it’s full of cute atmosphere!
Once inside, you’ll find another cute store.
All the goods and accessories are handmade.
There were handmade goods, accessories, message bottles, and more.
There were so many cute things that I had a hard time decidingwhat to buy.
Here’s what I bought!

And what a surprise! Directly on the spot.
I asked her to put a message in the bottle
I asked her to do it for me.
In just a minute or two, there was a picture of a cute shisa with a message and the date!
Too cute. I can’t wait to get this as a souvenir from my trip!
More than anything, the staff was so nice.
By the way, the owner carved the pictures and messages.
In addition to this, I also bought a shell accessory holder.
It was so cute, I fell in love at first sight!
Hakoniwa Kurima is a must-visit store for girls who love general merchandise!
NAMIMA
This shop is located next to the hakoniwa kurima shop I mentioned earlier.
It’s a store that sells original T-shirts and miscellaneous goods.
The owner seems to be the same as hakoniwa kurima.
I took a peek at this shop, too. I bought some coasters.
I bought a coaster from this shop, which is different from hakoniwa kurima. There were a lot of products that are perfect for going to the beach!
If you stop by hakoniwa kurima, I recommend you to stop by NAMIMA as well.
NBLAST
This is a Ryukyu glass select store.
The store is located near a McDonald’s.
The location is a bit secluded.
If you’re driving, you might miss it.
Just be careful! (I’ve missed it myself a few times lol).
But don’t worry, there is a parking lot.
There was a wide variety of cute glasses and other items on display, so I was lost here as well.
After some hesitation, I bought two slightly larger glasses for drinking at home.
It’s a beautiful cobalt blue!
I’m sure it will make drinking even more fun.
